Should Feel Lost
Thulumbu was born from a deeply personal experience. Our founder, a first-generation commerce student herself, once stood exactly where you stand today. She was passionate about CA and CMA but completely unaware of where to begin. Even growing up in Chennai, navigating the course structure was a struggle. That made her wonder: What about students from smaller towns across Tamil Nadu?
That question, along with four years of teaching over 500 students, led to the creation of Thulumbu, a Tamil-first learning community built to make professional commerce education accessible, clear and exam-focused.

She Walked the Path
Before She Built It
Growing up in Chennai as a triplet, our founder struggled to find the right guidance to begin her CA and CMA journey, even in a city. That experience never left her. It became her purpose.
Coming from a family of teachers, she spent four years teaching Direct Tax and Indirect Tax at an ICMAI institute, training over 500 students with a 75% clearance rate. She has delivered career guidance across schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu and continues to serve as a guest lecturer.
Deeply inspired by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s belief that learning in one’s mother tongue leads to faster and deeper understanding, she built Thulumbu to teach entirely in Tamil, making CA and CMA education natural, relatable, and exam-ready for every Tamil-speaking student.
